There is a sort of “magic” here in Highlands. People look out for each other.  That is evident in person and even on Facebook every day.  Really neat.  Loads of folks who are so happy to be here.    I find The “hills” of Highlands are very friendly, quite like the streets downtown.  It would be great to have more opportunities for people from both sides of rt. 36 to meet up. 

                                   AND.....

there needs to be a definite RESET to move forward the physical and economic interventions that will finally bring Highlands forward out of Sandy's shadow.​
